My journey isn't very different from yours; at some point, the paths I was "supposed" to follow stopped calling me, and the "normal" answers I received to my concerns stopped making sense. But what I remember most was a calling, not a calling from some voice out there, but a calling that came from the depths of my being, and it was clear and resounding... remember, reconnect, love, and serve.

This is how I began my journey inward more than 25 years ago, to medicine, psychology and psychotherapy, meditation, yoga, and psychedelics. To the very heart of BEING.

I am originally from Mexico, a beautiful land with a millennia-old medicinal tradition. I graduated with a doctorate in medicine before fully dedicating myself to Integral Healing processes.

I trained as a Body-Oriented Psychotherapist at the Reidman Institute for Complementary Medicine in Israel and as a Focusing-Oriented Therapist from the Focusing Institute International. I also trained as an Integrative Psychiatrist from the Integrative Psychiatric Institute and as a Certified Psychedelic-Assisted Therapist from the California Institute of Integrative Studies.

Having such a close understanding of Western Medicine, the most cutting-edge therapeutic currents, and the soulful paths of the East led me to discover within myself what is now known as Grounded Spirituality, a humane, modern, and respectful way of integrating knowledge from Neuroscience, Mindfulness and Meditation, Functional Medicine, and ancestral methods of Body-Mind Healing. And making them accessible and effective.

I have been a faculty member at the Reidman Institute for Complementary Medicine in Israel, the Integra Institute of Body Psychotherapy, and the University of the Environment (UMA).

I have been teaching courses, workshops, readings and retreats for 20 years.

I'm an Existential and Gestalt therapist, with a special interest in music. I'm a husband and with my wife we're "parents" of two beautiful cats. I like to play electric guitar. I'm also a speaker and trainer in some institutes around the world, teaching gestalt, group therapy and existential therapy. I have written five books on topics around existential therapy. I'm Honorary President of the Latin American Association for Existential Therapy. I'm founder and CEO of an Institute in Mexico where we offer training and a Masters degree in Existential Therapy. Since 2018 I'm offering Psychedelic Integration Therapy.

I teach existential-phenomenological therapy, sexuality from an existential point of view, Gestalt group therapy, Existential group Therapy, and a course on Non-ordinary modalities of consciousness. I run integration groups in Mexico City. Every six months I offer Holotropic Breathwork workshops, and Dance & Expressive Movement workshops. Once per year I offer a six day residential workshop on Death, Dying and Grief.
